CRPF 180 BN Organises Blood Donation Drive & Free Health Camp in Tral, J&K

CRPF 180 BN Organises Blood Donation Drive & Free Health Camp in Tral, J&K The Central Reserve Police Force 180 BN Tral organised a free health checkup and medical camp to mark the 87th CRPF Raising Day. The Department of Blood Transfusion and Immunohematology, SKIMS, Soura, organised a voluntary blood donation camp to save lives.

The CRPF jawans gathered to make the event successful, said Doctor Javid Ahmad. The locals came to donate blood. We hear that blood is required in hospitals so we are grateful to 180 BN CRPF for the blood donation camp here. People should donate blood as it plays a major role in our lives. So locals plrease come to Tral and donate your blood for a noble cause, the doctor said.

Another female doctor Saba said how the camp was organised well and donors were coming and donating blood in an organised manner. We collected 20 pints blood. Whatever blood we are collecting its screening will be done. We conduct four tests, Hepatitis T, C, HAV and VDRL If somebody is found to have the first two conditions, we give them a call personally. Then a counselling is done with them. In case we need to call their families then they come too. We do their screening and counselling as well. This is the first camp with 180 BN. We hope that in future they keep organising camps with us.

Many jawans too donated blood. We hope the misconception around blood donation has been cleared. We keep organising blood donation camps with very powerful ideas, so people are very inclined towards it, they are coming forward towards this thing, said the female doctor in Tral, Jammu & Kashmir.
