Srinagar, March 20, 2026- The Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department is set to host the much-anticipated Kashmir Travel Mart 2026 on April 14–15, bringing together nearly 250 tourism stakeholders from more than 20 states across India. The event aims to boost tourism in the region and position Kashmir as a premier global travel destination.
The two-day travel mart will serve as a dynamic platform for collaboration, networking, and business-to-business (B2B) engagements among tour operators, travel agents, hoteliers, and other industry professionals. The initiative is expected to strengthen tourism linkages and create new opportunities for partnerships across the sector.
A major highlight of the event includes immersive craft safaris, allowing participants to experience Kashmir’s rich artisanal traditions, along with curated destination tours showcasing the scenic beauty and cultural heritage of the region. Delegates will also get an opportunity to witness the renowned hospitality of Kashmir firsthand.
Officials noted that the event is part of a broader strategy to revive and expand tourism in Jammu and Kashmir, tapping into its vast natural landscapes, traditional crafts, and cultural diversity. With increased national participation, the travel mart is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the visibility of Kashmir’s tourism offerings.
