Katra, March 19, 2026- Thousands of devotees visited the revered Vaishno Devi Temple in Katra on the first day of Chaitra Navratri, marking the beginning of the nine-day festival dedicated to Goddess Durga.
Pilgrims from across India thronged the shrine to seek blessings, while the temple complex was beautifully decorated for the auspicious occasion. The atmosphere was filled with devotional chants, aarti ceremonies, and a strong sense of spiritual fervor.
One devotee said, “I come here almost every year, but this is my first time visiting during Navratri. I am deeply devoted to Mata Rani, and it is very special for me to see the temple beautifully decorated for the occasion.”
