LG Manoj Sinha Hails Shiv Khori Revival as Historic Step for Devotees श्रीशिवपञ्चाक्षरस्तोत्रम् ॥ नागेन्द्रहाराय त्रिलोचनाय , भस्माङ्गरागाय महेश्वराय । नित्याय शुद्धाय दिगम्बराय, तस्मै न काराय नमः शिवाय ॥१॥ I believe that today is the moment when time stands still to bow before some great truth. Those devotees who hold Lord Shiva in their hearts, who remember Lord Mahadev even in the most difficult times, and who continue to walk on the path of spirituality with Lord Shiva as their guide, I feel that today is their day, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha at Shiv Khori, J&K. Those who have prayed in the holy land of Shiv Khori for years and have kept the faith of this holy land intact even amidst the challenges, today, their wait has borne fruit. Today we stand where our ancestors used to stand with hearts full of reverence. LG wished that their faith should remain intact and their Shiv Khori should always remain steadfast and keep their culture alive. Today JSW has started a subtle effort to fulfill this wish, he added. I consider the restoration of the sacred Tapasthali of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, which has been done by JSW with the guidance of gentleman Shri Jindal ji, as an extraordinary agreement. Jammu and Kashmir is the land of Mata Vaishno devi and Shiva devotees, extending a helping hand for the revival of Shi Khori on that land is a historic work in itself. It is not just bricks and stones that are being added, but efforts are being made to deepen the foundation of development by developing all the facilities for the convenience of the devotees. It should be established on the map of the country as a major religious/spiritual centre, LG added.
