LG Manoj Sinha calls for preserving Jammu’s cultural heritage

Jammu, March 13,2026- A literary-cultural conclave was inaugurated at the University of Jammu, bringing together writers, artists, scholars and cultural practitioners to celebrate and reflect upon the rich heritage of the Jammu Division.

Speaking at the inaugural session, the chief guest urged members of the literary and artistic community to play an active role in preserving the region’s vibrant cultural legacy. Emphasizing the importance of safeguarding traditional knowledge, languages and art forms, the speaker highlighted that literature and the arts serve as powerful mediums for connecting people with their roots.
