Anantnag,March 12,2026- Deputy Commissioner Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat reviewed the arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026, emphasizing meticulous planning to ensure a smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage.
During the meeting, the DC directed all concerned departments to coordinate effectively and leverage previous years’ data and experience to enhance the overall management of the Yatra. Special focus was given to security, transport, accommodation, medical facilities, and crowd management, ensuring that pilgrims have a safe and seamless journey.
Officials were instructed to identify potential bottlenecks in logistics and communications, improve infrastructure along the Yatra route, and strengthen emergency response mechanisms. The DC highlighted that inter-departmental cooperation and real-time monitoring would be key to the successful conduct of the pilgrimage.
The administration assured that all necessary arrangements would be in place well before the commencement of the Yatra, reaffirming its commitment to the safety, convenience, and well-being of thousands of pilgrims visiting the sacred shrine this year.
