Udhampur, March 12,2026- Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa chaired a meeting of the District Level Telecom Committee to review ongoing telecom projects and measures aimed at strengthening network connectivity across the district.
During the meeting, officials provided updates on the progress of mobile tower installations, expansion of telecom infrastructure, and other initiatives to improve internet and mobile network coverage for residents and businesses. The DC emphasized the need for timely completion of pending projects and directed concerned authorities to ensure quality and efficiency in execution.
Officials also discussed strategies to address connectivity challenges in remote and hilly areas, highlighting the importance of seamless communication for education, healthcare, and emergency services.
