Rajouri, March 7,2026- Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma chaired a review meeting of blocks under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) and expressed concern over the poor mobilization of Self-Help Group (SHG) women in several areas.
During the meeting, the DC directed officials to intensify field-level efforts to increase women’s participation. He instructed departments to submit daily performance reports and organize cluster-level awareness camps to strengthen outreach.
The review focused on improving engagement under Mission YUVA and Udhyam Jagriti 4.0, initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, self-employment, and economic empowerment of rural women.
Officials were asked to ensure better coordination at the block and cluster levels so that eligible women can fully benefit from livelihood and enterprise development programs.
