Mission YUVA boost: 362 cases approved in Anantnag

Anantnag, March 6,2026- In a significant push towards youth entrepreneurship and employment generation, the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) in Anantnag has approved 362 cases under Mission YUVA, with a major share going to the retail and transport sectors.

According to official details, 114 cases have been approved in the retail sector, while 107 cases fall under the transport sector, reflecting strong interest among youth in business and mobility-related enterprises.

Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Bilal Bhat chaired the meeting and reviewed the progress of loan applications submitted under the initiative. During the review, he emphasized the need for expeditious processing of loan cases to ensure that beneficiaries can start their ventures without unnecessary delays.

The Deputy Commissioner also directed concerned departments and financial institutions to provide necessary facilitation and support to applicants, enabling them to complete documentation and other formalities smoothly.

Mission YUVA aims to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship among youth by providing financial assistance, institutional support, and skill-based opportunities. The approval of a large number of cases in Anantnag marks an important step in empowering young entrepreneurs and strengthening the local economy.
