No one can forget that because of neighbourhood atrocities in Kashmir, thousands of families were torn apart. Millions of dreams were trampled. The pain that you have been suffering for a long time, the pain can be understood and felt, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha during the inauguration of LG’s Special Governance Camp for Displaced Persons. We have made a beginning that the administration on its own reaches you. Also, that you get full benefits of these government policies. The administration is coming to you so that whoever wants to start a livelihood can, there is no limitation. The youth who want to take up self employment can do so without facing money crunch. The youth who want to be entrepreneurs will be given training, they will be hand-held and given subsidies, this is my assurance, said the Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha. He said that Mata Vaishno Devi and Baba Amarnath can show you that life which you have imagined for yourself. Let PoJK form be a symbol of your self-respect and as per your wish, land has been earmarked for a Samriti Bhawan to be constructed in memory of PoJK martyrs who lost their lives during the migration in 1947. The colonies where you live have not been regularised. The PoJK refugee colonies will be regularised soon, said the LG. I want to repeat this that PoJK (Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir) is India’s integral part and will always be. No power on earth can separate it from us. I have no doubt that people from our soil will one day be a part of strong India. The dream of realising ‘Akhand Bharat’ which our forefathers had seen, will definitely be fulfilled, the LG said. After 75 years of Independence, it is good to see that the present Kashmir government has been reaching out to the displaced society on its own, said residents. Registry and allotments are happening in the names of PoJK community. They had built homes but they were not registered owners. Today, hope has arisen. Our PM Narendra Modi had said that good governance will reach people at the grassroots level, that we can see through the efforts of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. The Lieutenant Governor solved many of our problems on-the-spot. It gives us great pleasure. He brought the Sarkaari machinery here and sensitised the people. PoJK folks are getting registered and this camp will be put up in different areas till March 19, 2023 so that affected families get benefits of welfare schemes of the Government.
