Indian Army medical outreach benefits 535 in remote J&K villages

Kashmir, February 25,2026- In a remarkable display of compassion and commitment, the Indian Army organised a medical camp in remote villages of Jammu & Kashmir during the holy month of Ramadan, braving harsh winter conditions to ensure essential healthcare services reached those in need.

The outreach initiative provided medical consultations, free medicines, and health awareness guidance to 535 residents, including elderly citizens, women, and children. Army medical teams conducted thorough check-ups, offered treatment for common ailments, and advised patients on preventive healthcare practices.

The camp not only addressed immediate medical concerns but also reinforced trust and goodwill between the security forces and local communities. By extending timely healthcare support in difficult terrain and extreme weather, the Indian Army once again demonstrated service beyond the call of duty.
