Kashmir Ahead

LG Manoj Sinha attends Mahayagya in Deoria

Jammu, Feburary 21, 2026- Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, attended the sacred Mahayagya and Prana-Pratishtha ceremony at the historic Shri Lakshminarayan Temple in Bankatashiv, Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh.

Addressing devotees during the public function, the Lieutenant Governor described the sacred ceremony as a symbol of civilizational revival, revitalizing timeless values and sharing them across society. He said the occasion reflects India’s spiritual resurgence and cultural reaffirmation in the modern era.

Threefold Resolution for India’s Future

LG Manoj Sinha offered a threefold resolution for the future of the nation:

“We must transform India into the preeminent nation of the world, forge it into the most formidable global power, and establish it as the ultimate sanctuary of knowledge and intellectual wealth on Earth.”

He emphasized that every citizen must honor the nation’s glorious heritage with full responsibility. The devotion that preserved India’s culture through centuries of adversity, he said, must now guide the younger generation—transforming the wisdom of the past into the strength of the present and lighting the path ahead.

Civilizational Awakening Under PM Narendra Modi

The Lieutenant Governor highlighted that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is not merely scripting a story of economic growth but also witnessing a profound civilizational awakening.

He stated that the world now acknowledges India’s firm emergence as a global power, driven by:

  • Inclusive growth
  • Rapid technological advancement
  • World-class infrastructure development

“We have reached an era where fresh energy surges in every direction of progress, while a remarkable renaissance of spiritual and cultural consciousness takes shape,” he said.

Temple to Inspire Youth and National Confidence

LG Sinha noted that the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple at Bankatashiv will serve as a beacon of inspiration for the youth. He said it will encourage young citizens to stand proudly rooted in their glorious past while embracing an extraordinary present marked by sweeping transformations across all spheres of development.

He further remarked that the India envisioned for 2047—when the nation completes 100 years of independence—will not only be economically strong but also spiritually enriched and culturally self-assured.

“The India that will stand tall as a developed nation by 2047 will be driven by economic aspirations. It will also be an India that is spiritually enriched, culturally confident, and fully awakened to its true identity,” the Lieutenant Governor said.

The Mahayagya and Prana-Pratishtha ceremony witnessed the participation of devotees, saints, and local residents, marking a spiritually significant moment for the region and underscoring India’s continuing journey of cultural renaissance and national resurgence.
