Kashmir, February 12,2026 – Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired the 50th meeting of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB) , discussing key initiatives for the smooth management of the shrine and ensuring pilgrim safety, infrastructure development, and enhanced facilities for devotees.
During the meeting, LG Sinha emphasized the importance of efficient administration, community participation, and security measures to facilitate a safe and spiritually enriching experience for pilgrims visiting the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage season, focusing on health, sanitation, and disaster management protocols, while ensuring that traditional rituals and religious practices are conducted seamlessly.
LG Sinha reaffirmed the government’s commitment to preserving the religious heritage of Jammu & Kashmir and promoting pilgrimage tourism in the region.
