Kupwara, january 31,2026-As part of the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) initiative, PM SHRI School JNV Kupwara recently organized an educational activity focusing on Historical Places in India. The activity aimed to promote value-based learning, cultural awareness, and a deeper understanding of India’s rich heritage among students.
Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the program encouraged students to explore the significance of various historical sites, their architectural marvels, and their role in shaping India’s socio-cultural landscape. Through interactive sessions, presentations, and discussions, students actively engaged with the learning material, enhancing both their knowledge and appreciation for India’s past.
School authorities highlighted that such initiatives under IKS not only foster academic learning but also instill ethical values, patriotism, and respect for cultural heritage among young learners. Activities like these reflect the commitment of PM SHRI schools to blend traditional knowledge systems with modern education practices.
