Samba, In a significant boost to local entrepreneurship, street vendors in Samba district received credit cards under the Prime Minister Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme. The initiative aims to provide financial support and encourage digital transactions among street vendors across the country.

DC Sudan also encouraged other eligible street vendors in Samba to register for the scheme, emphasising that participation could empower them economically while integrating them into the digital economy.
Local vendors expressed their gratitude, noting that the credit cards would enable them to expand their businesses, manage finances efficiently, and recover from the economic setbacks caused by the pandemic.
