Jammu, January 22,2026- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of 10 Indian Army soldiers who lost their lives in an unfortunate road accident in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a condolence message, the Lieutenant Governor said that the entire nation stands united with the bereaved families in this moment of profound grief. He paid rich tributes to the fallen soldiers, acknowledging their outstanding service and supreme sacrifice for the nation.
“In this moment of profound sorrow, the entire nation stands in solidarity and support with the families of our brave soldiers. We will always remember their courage, dedication, and supreme sacrifice,” LG Manoj Sinha said.
The Lieutenant Governor informed that 10 injured soldiers have been airlifted to hospital for advanced medical care. He added that senior officials have been directed to ensure the best possible treatment for all the injured personnel.
LG Sinha also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the grieving families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured soldiers.
“My deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. I am praying for the swift recovery of the injured,” he said.
The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom across the Union Territory, with leaders from across the political and social spectrum expressing condolences and saluting the sacrifice of the fallen Army personnel.
