Samba, January 11,2026- Deputy Commissioner Samba, Ayushi Sudan, today reviewed the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and the Jammu and Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement Project (JKCIP) in the district.
During the review, it was informed that 427 beneficiaries have been approved under HADP, while 67 beneficiaries have been cleared under JKCIP. The Deputy Commissioner assessed the progress of sanctioned cases and the ground-level execution of the schemes aimed at strengthening agriculture and allied sectors.
DC Ayushi Sudan directed concerned officers to ensure speedy execution of approved cases, timely release of benefits, and continuous handholding support to beneficiaries so that the intended objectives of the programmes are achieved. She stressed the importance of close monitoring and inter-departmental coordination to maximise outcomes.
The Deputy Commissioner said HADP and JKCIP are key initiatives for enhancing farmers’ income, promoting modern agricultural practices, and improving competitiveness in the sector. She urged officials to intensify outreach efforts and ensure that eligible farmers and entrepreneurs fully benefit from these flagship schemes.
