Srinagar, December 29,2025 — Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, visited Abhinandan Home in Solina to review the progress of the ₹1 crore infrastructure upgradation project for the upcoming school for specially-abled children.
During the visit, the DC inspected ongoing construction and stressed the importance of timely completion and adherence to quality standards to ensure a safe, modern, and accessible learning environment for children with special needs.
Officials highlighted that the upgraded facility will include state-of-the-art classrooms, assistive technologies, therapy rooms, and other amenities aimed at providing inclusive education and holistic development for specially-abled students.
The DC directed project teams to maintain strict quality checks and expedite pending work, underscoring the government’s commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure for differently-abled children in Srinagar.
