Rajouri, December 18,2025-Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, on Thursday held a press conference to brief media persons about the week-long ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign being organised under Good Governance Week in the district from December 19 to December 25.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that 43 public service and grievance redressal camps will be organised across various blocks and tehsils of Rajouri district during the campaign. The initiative aims to address pending public grievances, strengthen last-mile governance and ensure tangible improvements in service delivery at the grassroots level.
He said that a wide range of services will be made available at these camps, including facilities from banks, Common Service Centres (CSCs), Aadhaar centres, besides awareness generation and on-the-spot implementation of various government welfare schemes.
The DC further stated that a detailed calendar of camps has already been issued to ensure maximum public participation. Officers from concerned departments will be deputed at block and panchayat levels to ensure prompt and effective redressal of grievances, he added.
Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma also informed that the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) will monitor the campaign. Citizens who are unable to attend the camps can register their grievances through the JK Samadhan portal, ensuring inclusivity and wider outreach.
Urging people to actively participate, the DC said the campaign is a significant step towards people-centric governance, bringing essential services directly to the doorsteps of citizens.
