Jammu, December 4, 2025 — Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated a sacred coin dedicated to Shri Sukrala Mata Ji during a special ceremony held at Lok Bhavan in Jammu. The initiative aims to honor the revered deity and provide devotees with a tangible symbol of faith.
The commemorative coin, crafted by the Shri Mall Mata Sukrala Devi Dharmik Trust, features the image of Shri Sukrala Mata Ji and will be distributed to devotees alongside prasadam. This initiative strengthens the cultural and spiritual connection of devotees with the Shri Sukrala Mata Shrine in Billawar, District Kathua.
The ceremony was attended by prominent members of the Dharmik Trust, including Chairman Tript Shastri, Dinesh Mahajan, and Raj Kumar. Also present was Garib Dass, Director of the Udhampur Police Academy, who praised the coin as a means to promote devotion and cultural heritage.
Speaking at the event, LG Manoj Sinha emphasized the importance of preserving local traditions and religious practices. He described the coin as a “unique way to honor Shri Sukrala Mata Ji and strengthen spiritual bonds within the community.”
The launch of this sacred coin is expected to attract devotees from across the region and encourage greater participation in the religious and cultural activities associated with the Shri Sukrala Mata Ji shrine.
