Kashmir, November 22,2025-The Central Industrial Security Force on Friday conducted a multi-agency mock drill at Jammu Airport to assess the security establishment’s readiness and coordination during emergency situations.
The exercise involved multiple stakeholders, including Jammu & Kashmir Police, airport authorities, fire and emergency services, medical teams, and disaster response units, who jointly simulated a high-alert scenario to evaluate real-time response capabilities.
Officials said the drill aimed to strengthen inter-agency communication, rapid mobilisation, crisis management protocols and passenger safety mechanisms. Mock evacuation procedures, perimeter security checks, first response actions, and coordination between ground teams were thoroughly tested.
CISF authorities emphasised that such drills are conducted regularly to ensure operational efficiency, enhance preparedness for unforeseen incidents, and maintain the highest standards of aviation security at Jammu Airport.
