Kashmir , November 22, 2025-Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (J&K EDI)–incubated startups made a strong mark at the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, drawing significant interest from global investors, tech leaders and industry delegations. Showcasing innovations across agri-tech, AI-driven services, renewable energy and smart governance solutions, the J&K pavilion emerged as a key attraction at India’s premier technology event.
J&K EDI’s startup cohort highlighted the region’s growing entrepreneurial potential, with founders presenting scalable solutions tailored for mountain economies, rural marketplaces and digital skilling ecosystems. Several global venture capital firms and accelerators held one-on-one sessions with the participating startups, exploring investment, mentorship and partnership opportunities.
Officials from J&K EDI said the strong response at the summit reflects the Union Territory’s shift toward innovation-led growth, driven by improved infrastructure, policy support and increasing youth participation in entrepreneurship.
