Srinagar,November 15,2025: In a significant step toward strengthening administrative efficiency and promoting transparent governance, the Chief Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir on Monday launched the Single Window System for Recruitment Rules, a unified platform designed to streamline, update, and manage all recruitment-related processes across government departments.
The new Single Window System aims to simplify approvals, reduce procedural delays, and bring accountability to the formulation and amendment of Recruitment Rules . With all departments now connected through a centralised digital interface, the platform is expected to ensure faster decision-making, real-time monitoring, and seamless coordination between administrative units.
Officials said the initiative will play a crucial role in enhancing good governance, ease of doing business in administration, and HR reforms within the Union Territory. The system provides a structured workflow for drafting, vetting, and approving Recruitment Rules, enabling departments to avoid duplication and maintain uniform standards across services.
The Chief Secretary emphasised that the platform will support transparency, efficiency, and citizen-centric governance, while also strengthening the overall human resource ecosystem of the J&K Government. He added that modernising recruitment processes is key to building a more responsive and accountable administrative framework.
The initiative is part of J&K’s continued reforms in digital governance, aligning with broader goals of Digital India, administrative simplification, and public service delivery improvement.
