Kashmir,15 November ,2025-In a significant recognition of its reform-driven governance, the Jammu & Kashmir Government has been honoured with the Top Achiever Award in KashmirEase of Doing Business and Business Reform Action Plan at the prestigious Udyog Samagam 2025 held in New Delhi.
The award acknowledges J&K’s remarkable strides in creating an investor-friendly ecosystem, streamlining business processes, and implementing high-impact reforms under the Single Window System, land allotment mechanism, industrial policy rollout, and digital governance initiatives.
Officials from the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry appreciated J&K’s efforts in enabling transparent, efficient, and time-bound services to entrepreneurs and industries. The UT’s consistent improvement in parameters such as online approvals, investment facilitation, industrial infrastructure, and startup support contributed to this recognition.
Speaking at the event, senior officials from J&K stated that the award reflects the administration’s commitment to boosting industrial growth, job creation, and economic development across the Union Territory.
The Udyog Samagam 2025 brought together policymakers, industry leaders, startups, and investors from across the country, showcasing best practices and future opportunities in India’s evolving business landscape.
