Jammu, November 12,2025: In a vibrant ceremony reflecting the growing sports culture in Jammu and Kashmir, Satish Sharma, President of the Jammu and Kashmir Pickleball Association, unveiled the official team jersey for the J&K Pickleball contingent set to participate in the upcoming IPA Pickleball Nationals 2025.
The launch event, held at the J&K Sports Council complex, was attended by players, coaches, sports officials, and enthusiasts from across the Union Territory. The new jersey, designed to represent the energy and resilience of J&K’s youth, bears the state’s cultural motifs and vibrant colours, symbolizing unity and determination.
Speaking on the occasion, Satish Sharma congratulated the selected players and encouraged them to perform with dedication and sportsmanship. “Our athletes are not just representing Jammu and Kashmir—they are representing a spirit of discipline, teamwork, and excellence. I am confident they will make the Union Territory proud at the national level,” he said.
The IPA Pickleball Nationals 2025, scheduled to be held later this month, will feature top players from across India competing in singles, doubles, and mixed categories.
Officials from the J&K Sports Council appreciated the association’s efforts in popularizing Pickleball, one of India’s fastest-growing sports, across schools, colleges, and community clubs.
Team members expressed excitement ahead of the nationals, vowing to bring glory home. “The new jersey is not just a uniform—it’s a symbol of our hard work and commitment,” said one of the players.
The event concluded with a group photo session and motivational address from sports mentors, setting a positive tone for J&K’s journey to the IPA Pickleball Nationals 2025.
