Budgam, November 11,2025-District Election Officer Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, on Tuesday conducted an on-spot inspection of several polling stations across 27–AC Budgam to assess the smooth conduct of the ongoing polling process.
During the visit, Dr. Bilal Bhat reviewed polling arrangements, voter turnout, and the overall functioning of election staff deployed at different locations. He interacted with polling officials, security personnel, and voters, ensuring that the process was being carried out peacefully, transparently, and in adherence to Election Commission guidelines.
The DEO appreciated the efficient coordination between civil and police administration, which contributed to maintaining a peaceful atmosphere throughout the day. He also directed the concerned officers to remain vigilant and provide every possible facility to voters, especially the elderly and differently-abled citizens.
Dr. Bilal Bhat emphasised that the administration remains committed to ensuring a free, fair, and inclusive electoral process across Budgam district.
