Srinagar, November 8,2025: The 5th edition of the Kashmir World Film Festival concluded in Srinagar with a grand closing ceremony celebrating cinema, creativity, and cultural exchange.
Festival Director Mushtaaque Ali Ahmad Khan expressed gratitude to filmmakers, artists, and audiences for making the event a success, highlighting how KWFF has become a platform that connects Kashmir with global cinema.
The week-long festival featured screenings of national and international films, interactive sessions, and panel discussions aimed at encouraging young Kashmiri filmmakers and promoting film culture in the region.
Addressing the gathering, Khan said, “KWFF is not just a film festival; it’s a movement to bring the world closer to Kashmir through art and storytelling.”
The closing ceremony also witnessed awards being presented to the best films and filmmakers in various categories, recognising outstanding talent and innovation in cinema.
