The snowfall led to a noticeable drop in temperatures, impacting the road conditions and local travel.
Local authorities and meteorological officials advised travellers to exercise caution while commuting through the Gurez-Bandipora route, as the mountain pass can become slippery and challenging during early winter snowfall. The scenic vistas, covered in snow, attracted attention from photographers and nature enthusiasts, highlighting the valley’s natural beauty during the onset of winter.
Residents of Gurez Vaalley welcomed the snowfall, which is vital for water resources and agriculture, but were also reminded to prepare for cold weather conditions in the days ahead.
