LG Manoj Sinha: Women Power is the First Pillar of Developed India In the holy Navratri, Seva Parv is happening. I am happy that with the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, this program has been organized with spiritual development, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. This is a glimpse into India’s rich spiritual heritage. Mata Vaishno Devi is one of the forms of Mother Goddess who resides in the holy shrine. For centuries, Mata Vaishno Devi has not only fulfilled the wishes of her devotees but has also led them towards the path of spiritual practice through purification of thoughts, LG spoke. It is said in our scriptures that service is the ultimate religion and welfare. And while doing our work, we should always think about the welfare of others also, LG added. Generally, there are three forms of energy considered here. Tree form, flower form that is, the creation that happens through you and the emergence of the spirit of service. I believe that there cannot be a more beautiful appreciation of women power in the entire world. And that is why I believe that the entire country is grateful to the respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, who has accepted women power as the first pillar among the four pillars of developed India. And he has resolved that not only women should develop but rather India should develop under the leadership of women. A new vision of development led by women’s power should be established in society. Numerous initiatives have been initiated to connect empowered women with a prosperous nation. How can the lives of everyone from cities to villages, from big businesses to sisters associated with self-help groups be made easier? For their better health, the Prime Minister has taken many historic steps so that our mothers and sisters become the voice of change. Earlier, the sisters had to struggle to bring water to their homes. Now tap water has reached almost every home. They used to lose eyesight while cooking on wood. Under the Ujjwala Yojana, the government has completely transformed the lives of such households by providing them with LPG connections. You all know that in rural areas, our sisters had to risk their health, safety and sometimes dignity by going to deserted places in the dark to defecate. The country has now succeeded in freeing our mothers and sisters from this worry by constructing toilets in every house under Swachh Bharat.Women from poor families in the village continued to light kerosene lamps and diyas even many years after independence. This also had a negative impact on their health. By providing electricity to every household in the country under the Saubhagya Yojana, the Prime Minister has strengthened the entire human society and has worked to make our sisters more powerful. The Prime Minister has worked to link the development of the people with the development of women. And that is why the mothers and sisters of Jammu and Kashmir today are coming forward in the development journey, LG said. Let us bow at the feet of Mata Vaishno Devi and take a pledge that we will definitely spare some time in our lives for cleanliness and for serving others and we will all contribute our full efforts as responsible citizens in building a developed India, the Lieutenant Governor added.
