Kashmir, 30 September , 2025: The auspicious festival of Shardiya Navratri 2025 was marked with great devotion and cultural fervour as devotees came together to participate in Garba celebrations held under the unique theme of Operation Sindoor. The event highlighted the spirit of unity, tradition, and devotion while spreading the message of victory of good over evil.
Dressed in colourful traditional attire, men, women, and children performed Garba and Dandiya to devotional songs, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. Organisers stated that the theme ‘Operation Sindoor’ was chosen to symbolise purity, strength, and the sacredness of devotion to Goddess Durga during Navratri.
Community leaders, cultural groups, and devotees emphasised that such celebrations not only preserve age-old traditions but also foster social harmony and togetherness. With illuminated venues, devotional chants, and cultural performances, the nine-day festival was celebrated with deep spiritual enthusiasm across the region.
