Srinagar, 29 September, 2025: Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has approved the reopening of seven previously closed tourist spots across the valley. The decision has been warmly welcomed by locals, tourists, and tourism stakeholders, who view it as a significant step toward revitalising the region’s travel and hospitality sector.
Officials stated that the reopening aims to boost tourism in Jammu & Kashmir, create employment opportunities, and enhance the overall economic growth of the valley. Security and infrastructure measures are being strengthened to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
