Jammu, 29 September 2025: As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv 2025, the Rural Development Department organised a Swachhata Vijayotsav in Jammu . Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha emphasised that Sewa Parv should not be viewed in isolation but must be integrated into daily life to foster a unified national identity and ensure the welfare and prosperity of all citizens.
Addressing participants, LG Sinha highlighted the role of cleanliness drives in promoting public health and well-being, while stressing the importance of community participation in creating happier and healthier villages. He further reiterated the commitment to bridging the gap between rural and urban Jammu & Kashmir through sustained civic engagement and development initiatives.
The Swachhata Vijayotsav witnessed active participation from local communities, government officials, and volunteers, who took part in cleanliness activities and awareness campaigns aimed at sanitation, hygiene, and environmental care. Such initiatives reflect the administration’s dedication to building a cleaner, healthier, and more united J&K.
