Srinagar, 27 September ,2025: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, reaffirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is deeply committed to bringing the Pahari tribal community into the mainstream. He said their empowerment will not only strengthen their socio-economic status but also contribute to building a resilient and prosperous Union Territory.
Addressing a gathering, LG Manoj Sinha highlighted the government’s dedicated efforts to uplift marginalized communities, ensuring that the benefits of development reach every section of society. “The empowerment of the Pahari community is a priority of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Their integration will pave the way for a stronger, inclusive, and developed Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
The administration has introduced several welfare schemes focusing on education, employment, health, and skill development for the Pahari and tribal communities. LG Sinha emphasized that these initiatives are aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, ensuring inclusive growth across the Union Territory.
He further underlined that recognition and mainstreaming of the Pahari tribal community will serve as a milestone in the journey towards equality, social justice, and holistic progress in Jammu and Kashmir.
