Shopian, 26 September 2025:As part of the ongoing #SewaParv2025 celebrations, schools across Shopian district organised first aid awareness programs aimed at equipping students with essential life-saving skills. The initiative focused on empowering young learners with practical knowledge to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
Trained health professionals and educators conducted interactive sessions, demonstrating basic first aid techniques, CPR, wound management, and emergency response measures. Students actively participated in the hands-on activities, gaining confidence to handle unforeseen situations both at school and in their communities.
Officials emphasised that creating awareness at an early stage not only builds a safety culture among youth but also strengthens community resilience. The program highlighted the broader objective of Sewa Parv 2025—to promote health, well-being, and social responsibility through collective action.
The initiative was widely appreciated by parents, teachers, and local residents, who hailed it as a step towards preparing students to become responsible, skilled, and compassionate citizens.
