Kathua, 23 September ,2025: As part of Sewa Parv 2025, a 5-day training programme under CSS-ATMA was inaugurated at the Sheep Husbandry Department, Kathua by Hon’ble MLA Dr. Bharat Bhushan. The initiative aims to educate and empower livestock breeders with modern techniques and best practices.
Around 100 breeders have registered for the programme, where they are being sensitised on modern livestock management, fodder practices, and government schemes designed to enhance productivity and income. In a significant move, on-the-spot sanction letters for relevant schemes were also issued to eligible participants, ensuring immediate benefit and support.
Officials emphasised that such initiatives under Sewa Parv strengthen farmer and breeder engagement, livelihood enhancement, and awareness about government schemes, contributing to sustainable rural development.
