Kathua, September 20,2025: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kathua, Rajesh Sharma, reviewed the ongoing progress of registration under the Jammu & Kashmir Backward Classes Welfare Board . The review emphasised the need to cover all eligible MGNREGA workers and ensure their access to welfare benefits.
The DC highlighted the importance of mobilising beneficiaries through block-level camps, aiming for maximum outreach and inclusion. Officials stated that these initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen social welfare programs and ensure that eligible workers in Kathua district receive the benefits and support due to them.
