Poonch, 15 September,2025 : The Border Security Force organised a mobile medical relief camp on 14 September 2025 at village Kasblari, Mankot, District Poonch, to provide much-needed medical aid to residents affected by recent heavy rains.
A dedicated team of BSF doctors and paramedics conducted health check-ups of more than 130 villagers and distributed essential medicines free of cost. The camp was aimed at extending timely relief and ensuring the well-being of people in Kasblari and adjoining areas, which were severely impacted by rain-related hardships.
Officials said that the initiative reflects the BSF’s commitment to humanitarian service, going beyond its primary role of border security to support communities in times of crisis.
Local residents expressed gratitude to the BSF for their assistance, noting that the medical support brought much-needed relief to families struggling with limited access to healthcare facilities in the aftermath of the rains.
The effort underlines the BSF’s steadfast dedication to safeguarding lives, providing community support, and strengthening civil-security force relations in border areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
