Ramban, September 09 , 2025: In a major step towards youth empowerment and self-employment promotion, Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee under Mission YUVA.
During the meeting, the DLIC approved 200 new cases for financial assistance and mentorship support, enabling local youth to establish viable business ventures across the district. Officials emphasised that the initiative will provide a strong platform for entrepreneurship development in Ramban, encouraging innovation, skill-building, and self-reliance among the younger generation.
The Mission YUVA programme continues to play a vital role in generating employment opportunities, nurturing startups, and supporting youth-led enterprises in Jammu & Kashmir, with Ramban emerging as a hub of entrepreneurial growth.
