The initiative, aimed at safeguarding public health, utilizes loudspeaker announcements playing jingles to educate residents on preventing waterborne diseases and maintaining clean water sources.The campaign comes in response to heightened concerns over water quality following recent heavy rainfall and flooding in Udhampur district, which have increased the risk of contamination in local water bodies and supply systems.
