Jammu and Kashmir,3 September 2025: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah chaired a meeting this morning to review the situation arising from the incessant rains across the Union Territory.
He directed the administration to intensify ground response, ensure clearance of waterlogged areas, safeguard essential services, carry out timely evacuations in critical zones, and provide immediate relief to affected families.
Hon’ble Ministers Javed Ranaa and Satish Sharma briefed on the situation in Jammu, while Hon’ble Minister Sakina Itoo and Advisor to the CM Nasir Sogami provided updates on the situation in the Kashmir Valley.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people to follow official advisories, avoid vulnerable spots, and stay safe during the ongoing weather crisis.
