Samba, August 26: In its continued efforts to strengthen customer engagement and promote regulatory compliance, J&K Bank organised a Re-KYC Awareness Camp at its branch in Samba district.
The camp aimed to educate customers about the importance of completing their Know Your Customer (KYC) updates to ensure uninterrupted banking services. Bank officials guided account holders on the required documents, procedures, and timelines for Re-KYC compliance, while also addressing queries related to account safety, fraud prevention, and digital banking facilities.
Speaking at the event, branch representatives highlighted that regular updating of KYC details helps in preventing misuse of accounts and enhances the overall security of the financial system. Customers expressed appreciation for the bank’s outreach efforts, noting that such awareness initiatives make the process easier and more transparent.
The Re-KYC camp witnessed active participation from local residents, small traders, and senior citizens, who were provided with on-the-spot assistance in completing formalities.
