GANDERBAL, August 8, 2025: As part of the Civic Action Program of J&K Police, a group of 85 students from District Ganderbal embarked on a week-long Bharat Darshan Tour today. The initiative, aimed at fostering national integration and cultural awareness, was flagged off by SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS at DPL Ganderbal in an impressive ceremony.
The Bharat Darshan Tour, fully sponsored by J&K Police, provides students with boarding, lodging, to-and-fro air tickets, and all logistical facilities. The tour is designed to offer the youth of Ganderbal an opportunity to explore India’s rich historical and cultural landmarks, promoting a deeper understanding of the nation’s diversity and unity.
During the flag-off ceremony, SSP Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS addressed the students, encouraging them to seize this opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting iconic sites across the country. He emphasized the tour’s goal of instilling a sense of national pride and unity among the youth. The event was attended by senior police officers, including DySP DAR DPL Ganderbal, and was marked by enthusiasm from students and their families.
