Bam Bam Bhole!” – the chants echoed through the majestic mountains of Jammu & Kashmir as thousands of pilgrims, filled with devotion and gratitude, embarked on the sacred journey to seek blessings from Baba Barfani during the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025. Among the sea of faithful pilgrims, a first-time devotee shared her heartfelt emotions: “We’ve been trying for years to come here for Baba Barfani’s darshan, and finally, in 2025, we were blessed with the opportunity. The joy is indescribable. The arrangements are outstanding, especially the security. Everything is peaceful and well-managed. We urge all fellow Indians to come and begin this sacred journey from Pahalgam without fear or hesitation.” Another pilgrim emphasised the message of unity and national participation: “Everyone from every corner of India should come for Baba Barfani’s darshan. The Army is present throughout the route, providing strict and visible security. I truly believe that every district should send its devotees here.” One devotee reassured fellow citizens, “There’s nothing to worry about. Baba’s blessings are with us. The Army is stationed at every point, and their support is unwavering. The arrangements are top-class. The fear that once surrounded the Pahalgam route has disappeared—thanks to the strong presence of the armed forces.” Pilgrims from states like Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh echoed a unified sentiment of safety and happiness. “There’s no inconvenience. People from across India are here. The CRPF and BSF are stationed every few meters, standing guard in the scorching sun and chilling snow, without rest, just for our safety. Their commitment is remarkable, and they deserve our heartfelt thanks and salute.” One devotee, emotional with gratitude, said: “I’ve been trying to come for two years. This year, Baba finally called me. It’s only because of his divine grace that I’m here. It feels like a dream come true.” Drawing parallels with the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, another pilgrim said: “Don’t let past incidents hold you back. There’s no fear here. The arrangements made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government are outstanding. The security setup is strong and reassuring.
