Srinagar, April 24, 2025 – The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference , led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, expressed profound grief and solidarity in response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed innocent lives. At the start of an All-Party Meeting held in Srinagar today, a two-minute silence was observed to honour the victims, reflecting shared sorrow, unity, and a resolute stand against terrorism.
Omar Abdullah, addressing the gathering, described the Pahalgam attack as a “heinous act aimed at disrupting peace in Jammu and Kashmir.” The solemn moment of silence underscored the collective resolve of political leaders to condemn terrorism and support the affected families. “This attack is an assault on our shared values of peace and humanity.
The All-Party Meeting, convened to discuss the security situation and coordinate relief efforts, saw leaders from across the political spectrum come together. The NC emphasized the need for a unified approach to counter terrorism and restore stability in the region. The party also called for comprehensive assistance for the victims’ families and urged security forces to take decisive action against the perpetrators.
