Pulwama Fights Back: Help, Not Shame — Deaddiction Support for Drug Users in J&K

Pulwama Fights Back: Help, Not Shame — Deaddiction Support for Drug Users in J&K Drug abuse has now reached such an extent that we need everyone to come forward. But it is not the end of the road. If users come to us for help we have deaddiction centres and we can get them out of this menace, said an official creating drug awareness among Pulwama residents in District Hospital Pulwama. This event is part of the national campaign in India against drug abuse called ‘Nasha Mukt Abhiyan’. Many families in Jammu & Kashmir are suffering because of the drugs issue. We request people to come here at the Mental Centre and you will be provided help through counselling and meditation to get out of this drug menace, the official stated. We request parents to keep a vigil on their children. They should see how their children use mobile phones and if they are getting money, where is the money being spent? Most importantly, they should check their children’s arms to see if they are into drugs or not. We have requested the SHO Pulwama to catch the drug peddlers who are involving the innocents into this abuse, the Pulwama offical said.
