Our electricity bill was coming around Rs 2500-Rs 3000 per month. During summers, the bill climbed up to Rs 4000 a month. After installing solar panel sheets as per PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, we are coming to know the amount of electricity we are saving. We have a smart metre installed here which tells us exactly our electricity consumption. Loans up to 65% have been granted by the Government on easy terms. In Ramban district up to 32 Solar Panels have been installed, said a government official in Jammu & Kashmir.
