Doda, February 4, 2025: The Doordarshan Jammu team today presented a Coffee Table Book to District Election Officer Doda, Harvinder Singh, at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Doda.
Appreciating the gesture, the Deputy Commissioner, who also serves as the District Election Officer, commended the efforts of DD Jammu in promoting voter awareness and the significance of elections. He recognised the crucial role DD Jammu plays not only in covering election-related events but also in organising voter awareness programs, particularly in remote areas and among the tribal communities, thereby fostering greater democratic participation.
The District Election Officer also lauded the efforts of DD Jammu’s Deputy Director, under whose leadership the team has successfully executed various voter awareness initiatives and ensured effective election coverage across the region.
