Construction of Nayabat Office Nagam begins: Deputy Commissioner Budgam reviews progress

Budgam, December 18: Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Akshay Labroo, conducted an on-site review of the ongoing construction of the Nayabat Office Nagam, underscoring the importance of timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

During the inspection, the DC directed officials and the executing agency to strictly follow the set timelines and ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to creating robust facilities that improve administrative efficiency and provide better services to the residents of the Nagam area.

The Nayabat Office in Nagam, recently approved, is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing governance and bringing administrative services closer to the local population. The DC also took the opportunity to inspect the condition of the approach road to the site and directed the Roads & Buildings Department Budgam to plan its upgradation in the upcoming financial year.

Engaging with local residents during his visit, the DC listened to their suggestions and addressed their concerns, further emphasising the administration’s focus on participatory governance.

In addition to the Nayabat Office Nagam, several other infrastructure projects have been approved under a larger initiative to enhance administrative facilities in Budgam. These include the construction of the Tehsil Office BK Pora, Nayabat Offices at Soibugh and Kachwari, and an Additional NT Complex at Pakherpora. These projects aim to strengthen public service delivery and improve the functioning of Revenue offices across the district, enabling swifter and more efficient services for citizens.
