District Admin Udhampur gears up for 10th International Yoga day 2024

UDHAMPUR, JUNE 14: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, convened a meeting with officers from various departments to finalize the arrangements for the smooth celebration of International Yoga Day. The meeting took place in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia, PO Poshan Subash Dogra, Chief Planning Officer Mohd Iqbal, and other senior officers from various departments.
Detailed discussions were held to finalize various aspects of the event, including the venue, participants, matting, stage setup, refreshments, publicity, public address system (PAS), parking, security, and other necessary arrangements. It was decided that the main event would be organized at the Sports Stadium in Udhampur.
The concerned departments were directed to make the necessary arrangements well in advance. The DC called for inter-departmental coordination and emphasized ensuring mass participation to make the event a grand success.
