DC discusses delimitation of municipalities in Jammu District

JAMMU, MAY 17: Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya chaired a meeting to deliberate on the delimitation of municipal wards across the district, including the Jammu Municipal Corporation. This initiative aligns with the directives issued by the State Election Commission.
During the meeting, the DEO underscored the importance of conducting the delimitation process strictly in accordance with the Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Act. He issued comprehensive instructions to all concerned officials, outlining the meticulous steps and procedures to be followed throughout the delimitation exercise.
The meeting witnessed the participation of Deputy District Election Officer Rameshwar Kumar, Secretary JMC alongwith Executive Officers of all municipalities.
